Mud, Glorious Mud!

There is something empowering when you take a piece of clay in your hands and you have the ability to turn it into whatever you want to make. In the beginning starting with a cube of clay and turning it into a simple pinch pot might be awe inspiring by itself but then to realize that from that simple design you can build so much more!

The joy for me in teaching is to teach the basic concepts of how to work with clay. This is the stepping stone to whatever they might want to build. I encourage people to use their imagination and to create whatever they want. After teaching someone the basics I am always astounded at the art that comes from their fingertips!
